Erik C. Parrish , CPA, CMPE, Fractional Chief Financial Officer

Erik leads the firm’s Private Accounting practice, serving the firm’s clients in the small to medium size business sector and high net worth individuals. As the practice leader, he works with a team of professionals that serve clients on their internal accounting information and reporting needs, automate their accounting processes, and provide CFO advisory services. Clients range from industries including consumer services (healthcare and dental, tech, retail, financial services, professional services, hospitality, food and beverage, entertainment and recreation), nonprofit (charitable, religious, social/country clubs), real estate (investment, management, development), and high net worth (personal, family, and trust accounting).

Erik worked in public accounting for seven years before transitioning to the private industry in 2011 when he joined a major northwest jewelry retailer with 150 employees as the director of finance and right-hand advisor to the president. Erik worked with family owners to transition from second-generation to the third-generation, and helped the family privately restructure their 31 stores to 15 well-performing stores to compete more effectively in the retail environment.

In 2013, Erik joined a West Coast accounts receivable management company. As CFO, he worked to consolidate three collection-based companies into one, helped a national patient financing company quadruple in size, and helped start a fifth company with an India-based partner to develop software solutions for the ARM industry. Most notably, Erik traveled to India to work with developers to construct the Accounting Information System to the software platform and helped the patient financing company successfully be sold to a venture capital firm. By the end of his term at this accounts receivable management company, it had grown to employ 300 people.

Erik, his wife, Brittany, and their two children live in Eugene, Oregon where he was raised. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and running in local charity-based races.
