Erik C. Parrish , CPA, CMPE, Chief Financial Fractional Officer

 

Erik leads the firm’s Private Accounting Service practice, serving the firm’s clients in the small to medium size business sector and high net worth individuals. As the practice leader, he works with a team of professionals that serve clients on their internal accounting information and reporting needs, automate their accounting processes, as well as provide CFO advisory services to clients across a broad range of industries including Consumer Services (Healthcare and Dental, Tech, Retail, Financial Services, Professional Services, Hospitality, Food and Beverage, Entertainment and Recreation), Non-Profit (Charitable, Religious, Social/Country Clubs), Real Estate (Investment, Management, Development), and High Net Worth (Personal, Family, and Trust Accounting).

Erik previously was in Public Accounting for seven years, then transitioned in 2011 into private industry as he joined Harry Ritchie’s Jewelers as the Director of Finance and right-hand advisor to the President. Erik worked with family owners to transition from second-generation to the third-generation and helped the family privately restructure their 31 stores down to 15 strong performing stores to compete more effectively in the retail environment.

In 2013, Erik joined Hawes Group, a group of companies specializing in the Accounts Receivable Management industry. As CFO, he worked to consolidate three collection-based companies into one, helped a 4th company, HealthFirst Financial, quadruple in size, and helped start a 5th company with an India-based partner to develop software solutions for the ARM industry. Most notably, Erik traveled to India to work with developers to construct the Accounting Information System to the software platform and helped HealthFirst Financial successfully get sold to a venture capital firm.

Erik, his wife, Brittany, and their two children live in Eugene, Oregon where he was raised. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and running in local charity-based races.
